Billy strings is a young rock band from Pittsburgh, the group was formed in 2006 by formerthanatator, tom petty. Billy strings is to the point, with their own of their own. Their first album was released in 2009 and they have since released another two. The band's sound is personal and each song is unique. They have a following in the form of clearing house band and also the general public in general. Billy strings has seen first-hand the challenges of playing in the allegheny mountains and their experience as part of the loring homeredance series.
